When I got started with the InQUIZitive series, I had no idea if people would be interested in a trivia quiz book in this format. Today, after multiple wonderful reviews�and numerous mails from readers, I am convinced people enjoy this style of quizzing.

My journey with this series started when I found most trivia quizzing books in the market were very dry. They were mainly about memorizing facts. And in some cases, the questions were so obscure that even after reading the answer, you were left scratching your head.�To me, trivia quizzing is much more than just memorizing facts. Answering an interesting question is like putting together a puzzle. As you go through the question, your brain cells start ticking. After analyzing all the details you have a moment of absolute clarity, your brain says, "Aha!" and an answer crystallizes in front of you. Even if you are not able to answer a question, when you finally see the answer, you feel "Shucks! I should have guessed that."

In the InQUIZitive series, I have tried to make sure that the readers have many "Aha!" moments. Additionally, I have taken great efforts to present the details in such a way to make them extremely memorable. �Happy quizzing & may the force be with you!

About the Author
Sumit is the author of InQUIZitive, a trivia quizzing bestseller. The various volumes of the series are listed among the Top Rated Quiz books on Amazon.

Right from his childhood, Sumit has been interested in trivia quizzing. He firmly believes trivia quizzing is not about knowing dry obscure facts. According to him, it is about working out the answers using the clues provided in the question. He hopes that he can get a whole set of readers interested in Trivia Quizzing via his series InQUIZitive.

In addition to quizzing, Sumit enjoys reading (primarily Sci-Fi and Fantasy), movies (Old Hollywood classics), music (mainly rock) and photography. He lives in Bangalore with his wife and kid.

Fun challenges for everyone: Oneupsmanship as a game!

Sumit Dhar has come up with a collection of quizzes that are dazzlingly fun and informative. We may consider `trivia' as unimportant information but Dhar proves us wrong. Contained in this thoroughly entertaining book are situations and questions that hold our interest, pique our curiosity, and ultimately give us the answers in that embarrassed moment when we just can't put it al together.

But this is not meant to be a put down game - this series of trivia questions is rich in facts we all should know and helps us remember them by leaving spaces where we should be able to fill in the blanks or supply signs to which we should be able to finish the words.

Example: According to the Greek mythology, he is the God of Marriage and specifically the Marriage Hymn. He holds a burning torch in one hand and is considered the protector of female virginity. Which God?
Answer: Hymen

Or
Bomis.com is an adult website and its primary source of revenue is online advertising. It was founded by Jimmy Wales and Tim Shell in 1996. They, however, used the revenue from Bomis to launch and support a more famous initiative in 2001. What? Answer: Wikipedia

On Oct 14, 1914 a 27 year old Private Henry Tandey of Warwickshire had a German soldier in his line of fire. The German soldier was wounded and did not even attempt to raise his own rifle. Tandey chose not to shoot. The German soldier saw him lower his rifle and nodded his thanks before wandering off. Who was this German soldier? Answer: Hitler!

Volume I of the best new concept in trivia games I've seen.... well, ever

As usual I didn't pay anything for this book. It showed up in my email unasked for directly from the author. It has been my experience that this is a VERY bad sign for most books but in this case I was very pleasantly surprised.

In general I'm not a fan of trivia books because they're just disconnected random facts that don't really have any cohesion and don't build on each other well. I just can't stuff all that randomness into my head and expect it to stay put. This trivia book is not one of those. Instead of "Who won the British Open in 1989?" each question is a story and the question is often along the lines of "who is this story about" or "how is this person better known". It appeals because it puts the unknown bits out first and when you find the answer the reaction is usually, "OH! THAT guy!"

The only constructive point I might make is that the book does tend to use up a lot of space repeating the question. The format of each section is 5 questions laid out like:

Question 3

etc...

Also, some of the questions are a bit long so if you are trying to read these aloud to a crowd it might be hard for everyone to follow the whole question.

In summary, immensely educational and entertaining. Best concept in a trivia book I've ever seen. This author has got it completely right. Extremely impressed. Best book that ever just randomly showed up in my mailbox.

A great Trivia Quiz book for self friends and family, just dont google cheat :)

The Trivia quizzes are nice, mostly about pop-culture. Quite a few times the answers would surprise you. Have a look inside to see some samples.

The beauty of Sumit's style of trivia quizzing is that there are ample clues to the answers, and more so, the quizzes are about brands/music/references to things that you encounter everyday. A great way to pass time.

I used some of them to quiz my colleagues, and they were impressed with the questions I came up with. Hat tip to you Sumit.

Good Girl & Bad Boy Biker!

I like the way the characters develop in the story and that we are given some insight into who they are. Emma comes from a broken home where her mother packed up and left her and her father, who is an alcoholic cop, behind. She is resentful of them but she still loves them because they are her parents.

Emma's friend Delilah talks her into going to a party where a bunch of bikers are. She is the shy and reserved type girl, where as, her friend is outgoing and adventurous. She meets Kyle, who happens to be the brother of one of her fellow college classmates named Jack.

Kyle asks her out on a date but her mind seems to shift between both Kyle and his brother Jack. Both brothers are members of the same MC Club.

I recommend that you read Desire: Part One of Big Bear Outlaw MC Romance Series. You will want to know what will happen with Emma. Will she end up falling for Kyle, Jack, someone else or end up alone? I wonder what the impact that her father will have on her and the brothers relationships with him being a cop and them members of a MC Club. I can't wait for part two to find out what happens next!!!

Emma vs The Biker Brothers

First of three parts about Emma who is a straight laced college girl that still lives at home with her alcoholic cop father who catches the attention of Jack a bad boy biker who just happens to be in her English class. Yep, that’s right this biker is into higher education. One night Emma goes with a friend of her’s to the “other side of town” to a party that is full of bikers. There she sees Jack who is pretty cozy with some hot little number but the whole time Jack is getting busy with Madelyn his eyes are on Emma which Emma notices only because she can’t take her eyes off from Jack either. Now let’s throw Jack’s brother, Kyle in the mix and this only makes for a very interesting story. Kyle wasn’t like his brother he seen what he wanted so he didn’t waste time in asking Emma out; which she accepted.

Now the wait for the second part of this steamy story to see what the heck is going to happen. This should make for a pretty interesting read.

A 2015 must read. Hot sexy and desirable

This a awesome short story with more to come. Desire is about Emma Crawford who is a straight lace English student. Jack Hart is sexy bad boy who is in a motorcycle club. Emma goes to a party with a friend and runs into jack. She can't believe how sexy he is too bad he has a girlfriend. This is the 1st part of the story and it's an awesome read. I couldn't put it down. I can't wait for the next two parts. This leads you up to a hot story. This book is a hot read that leaves you wanting more. It's a must read. You want something that will keep you on the edge of your seat. You won't be able to stop thinking about these characters. Absolutely loved this book. It's a 10 star all the way.. Charlotte Byrd is amazing author one of the best of 2015.

Worst Book Ever….

I usually don't write negative reviews…but this book was so bad, I had to share my thoughts. This book is a horrible waste of time and money. First of all, I wouldn't even call it a book. It's more like a pamphlet! The author has no background or experience with nutrition and medicine. It's just some guy who decided to write a few thoughts. The book is SO vague and confusing! He says certain foods count as two bites and he keeps saying to have a drink on him. Everything in moderation - is what he keeps saying over and over. Everybody knows you should eat in moderation, you don't need to pay for a book to tell you that! There is barely any structure to his "plan". My favorite was when he tells men to drop weight so that their wives will follow their leads and that way they'll get a new "trophy wife". He says it's cheaper than finding a new wife. What a jerk. If you want a book about counting bites from a REAL doctor….goggle Why Weight Around? By Dr. Alwin Lewis. I lost 40lbs on his plan and he explains how the body actually works and metabolizes sugars from a medical perspective. He also debunks a lot of dieting myths. This 25 bites book is not even fit for the trash can.

This book has to be a joke!

Wow. Misspellings, fragmented sentences, run-on sentences, and lack of content are just a few of the problems with this book. I am a fan of counting your bites in order to reduce caloric intake and lose weight but this book contributes absolutely nothing to the bite counting approach. The author does not back up anything he says with fact or data. It is just all speculation and his opinion. It is pretty much a really bad blog post made into a tiny, 52 page book. This is an ACTUAL excerpt from the book: "If you want that special person to lose a few pounds, why don't you start with the 25 bite diet. You explain that you need to lose those love handles and you start the 25 bite diet. Lead by example, she will follow. Once she sees you dropping those love handles without having to change her cooking habits she will begin to follow your approach. And Voila! You have yourself a Trophy Wife." I still can't believe those words even after I have read them and written them. What in the world?!?! The one thing this book is not lacking is ignorant context. Only buy this if you want a good laugh.

Counting bites to lose wieght works!

I like the concept of counting bites to lose weight, IT WORKS. I thought the book was Ok, but always glad to see others counting bites to lose weight! Its a legitmite way of losing weight! I started at 80 bites a day and gradually worked down to somewhere around 20 bites a day. Short book that teaches you to write better

If you want to sell more and read a bunch of inspiring writing examples while you do it, get this book right now.

The goal is to get you to stop writing like an intellectual robot, and start writing like a HUMAN.

Look at the quote on the cover: "Communication is getting information from one brain to another brain." It's a basic definition, and it's exactly what the book will show you how to do.

This is great for:
* New (or unpopular) bloggers
* Online store owners
* Startup CEOs
* Sales guys and
* Anyone who writes emails for a living

Last thing: if you hate it, email Neville and he'll refund your money no questions asked.

Short and sweet, but just OK

This book can be read in under 30 minutes. That doesn’t mean the book isn’t useful, just that it is short and to the point. Like Larry Winget, James Altucher and Mike Michalowicz, Neville Medhora doesn’t gloss his advice in “self-helpy” prose and tell you life is roses and butterflies.

His advice is direct - “Stop trying to be clever. Instead be clear.” Or “IS THIS ADDING TO THE USERS KNOWLEDGE” – both of which stood out as prime examples of his useful and pithy action items found throughout the book.

He touches upon the much discussed AIDA formula (Attention, Interest, Desire and Action) and does a good job in a short space of providing examples of good and bad writing.

His audience is copywriters or bloggers looking to sell their ideas, goods or services. There are a few grammar and syntax mistakes that I could overlook if this was a blog post, but after having paid for this book I do expect better editorial control.

In sum, you can find just as useful advice on a website like Copyblogger free of charge and I would start there (or a site like it) if you want to learn how to write better.

I would put this book in the borrow category.

I'm a big fan of Nev's writing and this book doesn't disappoint.

If you're new to Nev Medhora, seriously check out his blog [...] and subscribe. It's a fun mix of business, copywriting, and self-improvement stuff, but it's always done casually and educationally.

Onto the book itself: it does what it promises. It will teach you to write better copy.

The book is short. You can finish it in 30 minutes, but the lessons are powerful and true. The best bits are the examples Nev gives when he's showing you how to use his frameworks and strategies.

Good book. Very simple. Does what it says it will do.
