OMG! Are you kidding me with this one? I read this book in a day and a half (Damon interruptions of life, food, nature calls, etc)! I am in love with this author and this series! I would give it 10 stars!!!

This book following the first book was an excellent edition into the life of the Munro family. I truly enjoyed how so many different aspects of "not so talked about" scenarios are faced and brought to reality in this second book. II fell in love with the first book because it hit close to home in so many ways and the second book hit straight in the bulls eye with monsters of my past. Knowing that these things can be written about and adored by so many readers gives me the courage to want to tell my own story, some day. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

An all time great book

It's a gamut of surveying. Surveying has a long history, and this book fills the gap between past and present practice of surveying. It has 35 chapters written by different authors. Although it was published in 1995, licensed surveyors should own this book in order to build a solid foundation of surveying techniques and the theory behind them.

Bait and switch?

This book, when in its entirety, is an excellent resource. Unfortunately, the version being sold is not the same as the one pictured. The version that was delivered to me was a 'Volume 1' but no Volume 2 exists and it only includes up to chapter 18. Everything after that has just been removed from the book and yet it is still being sold for the same price as the full version. It is the same price through the publisher but includes the full book. If they start carrying the full book, maybe this will be a good deal but right now it is a ripoff to charge full price for half the contents.
