This book is required for certain masters courses and is adequate for reading but is somewhat evasive regarding certain topics. For example; it mentions the Whitewater changes but does a poor job of defining exactly what it is. However it's strong point is identifying what is wrong with physicians that contribute to the health care problem.

I purchased this book for my Healthcare Administration Class that begins on August 17th, but I have already read the first four chapters for the required assignment. this book is easy to read and easy to understand. I think it is a very good book for this class and maybe other organization classes.

Accomplishes what its authors intended

This is a nice addition to the DXA literature. There is a scarcity of DXA textbooks, and most of the existing ones are either too simplistic or overly dry and academic. This book uses real cases to teach the basics of DXA interpretation. I've always wondered why no one has ever published a "how to" on DXA that incorporates the same kind of information that is taught at the ISCD courses (a textbook would be considerably less expensive). I'm subtracting one star due to an important error on page 6 where the T-score range for low bone mass (osteopenia) is given as -2.5 to -1.5 when it should be -2.5 to -1.0. The book is also somewhat expensive given that it is about 150 pages long, but this is probably due to the numerous DXA scan images as well as photos.

Clear, concise, with complex concepts clearly explained. Contains many excellent case illustrations with images, from normal findings to 'zebras'. Appreciate the no-nonsense and not-bogged-down-in-technicalities approach.

The Mechanics of Online Reputation Management is a must have for not only individuals who want to look good on the internet, but it is a must have for Digital Marketing and Search Engine Optimization Professionals everywhere. One thing that I really appreciated in this book is that it came quickly in the mail. When I ordered it a week ago, it arrived right when Amazon said it would, Friday night. Since receiving the book I have skimmed it, and I was immediately drawn to the extensive list of video sites, social media sites, and other extremely practical resources. It is quite difficult to find good advice, and even harder to find good help these days as a small business owner or marketing professional. I think that this book raises the bar on the standard of content that marketing books should have. In addition this book is extremely detailed and thorough about all the types of ways that you can go about implementing your search strategy (images, text, video, web asset creation and other rich content). This information marketers charge thousands for, but it is in this book for less than $20. Buy the book, you will be happy you did. I know I am. :-)

I've been looking for a comprehensive set of solutions for reputation management for a while now but have frequently been disappointed at the absence of quality guides on the market. My search led me to a couple of guides that seemed promising at first, but a closer look revealed outdated methods or strategies that I had already tried and that didn’t really provide any beneficial results. I was about ready to give up and simply rely on the scant knowledge I could get from online sources until I chanced upon the Mechanics of Online Reputation Management: Repair & Control Your Name or Brand Reputation Online by Tyler Collins.

A quick glance at some online reviews showed that the book enjoyed quite a good reputation. However, nothing prepared me for the sheer wealth of information contained in its pages. In clearly outlined steps and easy-to-understand language, Tyler goes into depth about everything that anyone could ever want to know about managing a reputation online. This was exactly what I was looking for, and the methods outlined in the guide were equally suited to managing personal names, corporate names, brands, and most any other entity.

Most of the essential aspects of reputation management are covered in the guide, but what I found most helpful were the sections that dealt with controlling the content that shows up in a search engine in relation to a name, brand, or company. The guide detailed the different tools that could be used to improve search content associated with a brand such as images, text, video, web asset creation and other types of rich content. Also provided are tips on how to identify any reputation-related issues, and how to address them quickly and effectively.

One thing I really like about this guide is how the author explains even the most complex concepts clearly. Although there is a lot of information provided, I never felt like I was being overwhelmed with too much information, nor did I have any difficulty following along with the recommended procedures. If you are looking for a comprehensive set of methods by which you could establish a positive online identity, I highly recommended checking out this book.

Excellent reference for new or experienced litigator

An earlier edition of Mauet's book served as one of my coursebooks at NITA in 1991. A superb reference and how-to manual for preparing for trial and dealing with unfamiliar issues of evidence and procedure. I'm disturbed by Wordy Wizard's review because he seems more concerned with rating the physical condition of the book he received rather than the content. This one is definitely worth the exorbitant price and should be included in your law library. (I think I paid ~$35 for my old copy in 1991.)

A must have for students, mock trial, and new practicioners.

I have a background in mock trial. My friend and mock trial partner has ZERO experience - she had never been in a courtroom. I managed to teach her all the basics of trial practice by lending her this book and spending one hour discussing the highlights. We ended up winning the school competition - within our law school, we were the best two trial advocates. She could not have made that kind of progress without this book.

I first bought this for my trial practice class. I didn't read it all, because I have some experience. It was useful to refer to when I had a question or needed some advice. This book is definitely a practical guide, not an academic treatise. You can pick and choose which parts to read and which to follow. I did extremely well in both my trial practice class and the New England regional mock trial competition, and the ONLY supplemental reading or research I did was in this book.

Great examples, sort of wordy

I had to buy this for my Trial Practice course. The class was a lot of fun, taught by a trial judge and appellate judge. They generally agreed with what was in this book but criticized the closing argument section and cross-examination section. There are a lot of examples inside which was very helpful in me writing my own opening, closing, etc. I'll probably keep it around if I ever litigate.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! More, Please!

I am very well acquainted with the BDSM lifestyle having been a part of it for years. This story was written by a man who clearly knows what he's talking about.

The main characters are absolutely compelling. Their journey together as well as individually is so well written I found myself pulled into their world and wanting to be a part of it. For the first half of the book, I had a love/hate relationship with Sgt Tate. Three quarters through and I fell in love with him. Dan is a remarkable young man. I'd love to spend time with him, as well.

I went through every emotion reading this book. Love, hate, lust, disgust, sadness, anger, joy. I laughed, I cried. There are 3 points in the story where I just completely teared up. The emotions this story conjures are very powerful. It was a very emotional roller coaster ride. If you don't tear up at least once, you have no soul.

Please, please write more...just nothing further in this story. For me, where the story ends is where it should stay. I would devour anything else. This book left me needing more. A truly fantastic read. Thank you SO much for this amazing story!

WOW Unbeleiveable

Wow. I cannot come to wrap my head around what I just read. I was expecting something different, way different. I was expecting an erotic story. What I got was an in depth study into these two men. That's not to say that it isn't sexual, it is. In fact the sexual escapades are sometimes extremely graphic. What surprised me most is how the sex and the story seamlessly intertwine with one another all while sustaining a high level of intensity. Wow again.

From a book standpoint, it is well crafted. There is a believable plot that continually builds; and the pacing feels right between the really intense parts to the quieter parts. There are surprises throughout. The characters are well thought out including the minor ones. If I had one complaint, it that the author could describe things in more detail; what is presented is minimal, but it keeps the movement flowing and it fits into a military feel.

From an erotica standpoint, it is well crafted as well. The sex is varied, so it doesn't feel like someone's fetish being described for hundred of pages. This is definitely sadomasochism. I felt at times that I was masochistic for liking some parts that should normally repulse me, but I kept reading.

I am so glad to have found a book that the author didn't dumb down the twisted aspect just to reach a wider audience.

I have never heard of Robert Zigmont, but I would love to read more of his work.

A PERFECT READ

Okay this book surprised the hell out of me. I bought it on a recommendation of a friend. I was expecting just some erotica with lots of the usual fun. I got that plus a whole lot more that was way more satisfying and introspective. This is a very intimate look at two people and how they help each other to mature. The character development was just so brilliantly laid out. I wanted to know these people. There were emotional punches that I did not expect at all. All in all, one of the most satisfying reads of any genre that I have had in awhile.

I am a beginner of PK/PD modeling. I have found that this book is not for me. I have to make a lot of guess work to figure out how the formulas are derived in this book.

I love HP's. I have always loved them except for cheating ones but in still love them but not so much lately. This is a lynn Graham for goodness sake but it was like it was called in. Vito was boring. And the love declaration was like 'can I have ranch with that salad?' Nooo! It could have been so much better. I think I might have to stop reading these. They just aren't as good as they used to be. But then again I am not as young as I used to be!! Maybe maturity means....maturity?
